Agent Million gives two lucky Premium Bonds holders a bank holiday weekend to remember

What would you do with £1 million? That’s a question two lucky winners are going to have to answer as Agent Million visits both Kent and York to deliver May’s Premium Bonds jackpot prizes.

This month, the lucky Premium Bond holder from Kent held the maximum value of £50,000 and bought their winning Bond (210VY427248) in August 2013.

Agent Million also ventured to York. The lucky jackpot winner there holds £45,000 worth of Premium Bonds and bought the winning Bond (152JH073647) in February 2009.

The pair become the 409th and 410th winners of the £1 million Premium Bonds jackpot prize. .

Still waiting on that prize? You could be sitting on it

Did you think £1 million was a lot of money? How about £61 million? That’s how much remains unclaimed from Premium Bonds prizes, as of May 2019.

In York there are a total of 5,521 prizes that remain unclaimed, with a total value of £193,200. In Kent, the number of unclaimed prizes is even higher at 40,623, totalling to a value of £1,532,700. One resident from Kent won £50,000 in November 2007 that is yet to be claimed.

Jill Waters, Retail Director at NS&I, said:

“A huge number of customers are missing out on the joy of their Premium Bonds wins as over £61 million worth of prizes remain unclaimed. To find out if you have an unclaimed prize, you can either use our online prize checker at nsandi.com or ask Amazon Alexa.”

Never miss good news from ERNIE

Unclaimed prizes result from NS&I not being informed of changes to personal circumstances, such as changes to contact details or addresses. Therefore, it is important to keep NS&I up to date if anything changes. NS&I also offers the option of having your Premium Bond prizes being paid directly into your bank account, which not only saves paper, but also ensures that your prizes never get lost.

Customers now have more ways than ever before to check if they have won a prize in this month’s draw. NS&I have recently launched the official NS&I Premium Bonds prize checker Alexa skill which will let you check for good news using voice-enabled technology. This is one of the first retail banking voice applications to the UK market.

Other options to check prizes include the prize checker on nsandi.com , or customers can download the official Premium Bonds prize checker app from the Apple App store or Google Play.
